Land Rover was struggling a few years back but after the take over by Tata things have changed, though not very drastic the change has been slow yet steady. Sales have increased and the company returned to profit making from the huge losses which it once suffered.
Land Rover was known for producing big SUVs, that perception changed with the introduction of the Evoque which lead to huge surge in sales and marked the opening of new launches for the car maker. The Evoque won accolades for its stylish design which resulted in a stunning looking car without sacrificing on the key Land Rover Strengths ie. Comfort, Luxury and Off-roading prowess.
With future looking safe for Land Rover, the car maker wants to bring in the all new Range Rover. Seen in the picture are the first pics of Range Rover Sport without camouflage. The car borrows styling cues from the Evoque. The front of the car is based on the Evoque with similar looking headlamps and Bumper. The car has rounded edges to make it more sleek and improve the aerodynamics. The front Windshield is more raked and Side profile too is altered. Sadly there is no tapering roof line as seen on the Evoque but that is not a bad thing as it will mean good space on the inside.
The car will be launched next year and will come with all the usual kit including the Land Rover Trademark Terrain Response system along with all the gadgets and frills. The car will have light weight construction and will get more fuel efficient and cleaner engines.
