“Production was affected by Tsunami last year, thus affecting sales in May 2011, with 7,470 units being sold. Last month, Etios, Etios Liva, New Innova and New Fortuner continue to show good results because of high customer confidence.
The sales have been good, despite the low market sentiments. However, with the rupee weakening, we are unable to retain the current prices. We are forced to pass a part of it to our customers. There will be a 1% increase in the prices of Etios diesel and Innova and a 0.5% increase in Fortuner and Etios Liva Diesel, with effect from 1st June.” said Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director- Marketing.
