Vespa, a brand quite well-known for its retro styled scooters will make its official debut third time in India on the 26th of April with the launch of the scooters. Goa will be one amongst the 35 cities which will have a dealership in India in the first phase.
Vespawill open two dealers in India, one in Margoa by Quadros the same owner which also has the two-wheeler showroom for Suzuki and Velji which previously had the Kinetic dealer in Panjim. Quadros will cater to South Goa while Velji will take care of North Goa.
GoaOnWheels correspondent Viraj Nayak managed to snap some pics of the Vespa dealership which is under construction in Margoa.
The Vespa LX125 scooter will be the first to be introduced in Indian and will be powered by a 124 cc engine, producing 10.26 Bhp of peak power at and 9.6 Nm of peak torque at 7250 RPM. The Scooter gets a CVT gearbox. The Vespa LX125 will be available in 5 colours namely red, silver, yellow, orange and blue. The scooter will compete with the likes of Honda Activa and Suzuki Swish.
