100 bookings in just six days that’s what BMW’s iconic British brand Mini got since its official launch at the 2012 Auto Expo. The MINI brand has become a hit in the Indian market from the very first day.

“We can sell around 200 units in the first year, as these models are all imported and orders have to be placed many months in advance. The highest demand is for the Countryman SUV and convertible variants,” the official said.
The Mini range is available in India, as completely-built units. With four models available, prices for the Mini range are between Rs 25 lakh and 37 lakh.
The four models on sale are the Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper Convertible and Cooper S Countryman into India as completely built units (CBUs).
The Mini range will be sold through three exclusive dealerships – Deutsche Motoren and Bird Automotive in New Delhi and Infinity Cars in Mumbai.
