Tata Motors is getting very aggressive with its small car Nano. The company is now targeting to sell 10,000 units of the Nano car a month in a year, a jump of more than 233 per cent.
The company which is currently doing an average of 2300-300 units per month, has seen a surge in its demand mainly due to the festive season.
Attractive financing options doled out by Tata Motors to Nano buyers at a time when financial institutions have increased automotive lending rates. Tata Motors hopes improving marketing and sales initiatives, especially in the rural market, will help it achieve the target.
Tata Motors is also planning to launch the 2012 edition of the Nano, which will have improved interiors, in India by January.
Tata Motors is also gearing up to launch a limited edition anniversary model of the car next year, which will complete three years in March. This model may have additional features such as aluminium alloy wheels, better air conditioning, a rear hatch, new fresh interiors and more additional features.
