The Indian luxury car market is seeing Jaguar making inroads into it rapidly. The leaping beast is making an impact on the market and hence the quick facelift is pretty justified.
The car will see a number of changes. The nose gets a sexy change and the headlights are inspired by its sibling the XJ. The face-lift will continue to be powered by the 3.0-litre V6 diesel, churning out 274bhp and the 5.0-litre V8 petrol developing 380bhp.
Jaguar is also looking at plonking the new four-cylinder 2.2-litre diesel engine which makes great sense for fuel economy-minded luxury car buyers which are a very few to be honest! Changes to the interior are not many and the power disposal remains the same at 188 bhp
The XF 3.0 litre diesel will now start at 64.03 lakh on road Mumbai and the petrol hot 8.0 lite engine will retain the 81.88 lakh rupees. Jaguars are making their intentions clear and are certainly ‘leaping’ into the competition with the trio of Mercedes, Audi and BMW.
