The new Volkswagen Touareg and the Polo have been caught testing Pune. Our friends at Anything-On-Wheels have caught the car testing on the streets of Pune. There is a lot of news of the Polo getting a more powerful diesel heart and some upgrades which include a new audio system with USB and steering mounted audio controls. Well he hope these features don’t come at the cost of a steep price hike.
The other caught testing was the all new Touareg which is the flagship SUV in the Volkswagen Stable. The New SUV which was launched in 2010 end internationally will see its debut by October. The new Beetle could also follow.
The Touareg will get a diesel heart and we expect the 3.0 V6 TDI 204PS or 3.0 V6 TDI 204PS to make it in India. The Hybrid version will not be available as the high price may not justify.
