The Skoda Rapid was once again caught testing. The Rapid will not be based on the Visoin D concept and will be get the Fabia facealike.
The Skoda Rapid is likely to be launched around this Diwali. The Rapid based on the Vento platform will have to undercut the car in terms of pricing and a few features may also be eliminated.
The Rapid will have to battle the fierce competition in the C-Segment with the New Hyundai Verna, Honda City, Maruti SX4, New Fiesta and VW Vento.
The cars are a bit different from the Vento and gets a nice set of alloys. The taillight will be typical Skoda and expect some more features to differentiate the car for the Vento.
The car will get the same engine options and hopefully an automatic too.
