LML will launch the retro look Star 200 which is based on the PX150 in India. Currently the scooter is being exported to different markets outside India.
Kanpur based Lohia Machinery Limited or LML as it is popularly known, will launch the scooter soon and will be priced around Rs 60,000. The Scooter is positioned as a lifestyle product and the company will not look at numbers.
The scooter features a parabolic front headlamp, Chromium plated hand grips with revamped and improved instrument panel. The Star is strapped with a 200 cubic centimetre engine, with maximum power of 8.6 kW and torque of 14.5 Nm which allow high performance at high and low rpms and is Euro3 compliant. The scooter promises a mileage of 50 km/litre.
