Toyota world’s largest car maker is gearing up for a big launch later this year. The next generation Toyota Camry will be unveiled in the second half of 2011.
United States of America which is one of the biggest markets for the car will get the new Camry first.
The seventh generation of the Toyota Camry will be launched this fall and will all new car with more features. Ahead of its formal launch Akio Toyoda have shown a glimpse of the actual car in a teaser video released by the automaker.
The CEO Akio Toyoda says that the new car is “best Camry ever”.
India launch?
Toyota may get the new Camry in 2012. However we are not sure if Toyota may do a CKD in India. The current model is a CBU and is priced above the 22 lakh mark. We hope the new Camry to make its entry in India soon after the new car is launched in USA.
Toyota should consider a diesel engine which could help the car maker to sell in volumes. Clearly the diesel figures of the Passat, Superb, C-Class and 3 Series will put Toyota to seriously consider the diesel engine option.
