Riding high on the success it has received through Nissan Micra, Nissan Motor will roll out its new global sedan by December this year.
The new Global sedan is based on the Micra platform and will be built from our existing plant at Chennai. The car will be launched in petrol and diesel engine options.
Nissan will come out with the first multi-purpose vehicle through our joint venture with Ashok Leyland in 2012, said Tokuyama, adding that other products which are also in pipeline will be unveiled in due course of time.
With the new sedan and MPV Nissan will have products in all the segments.
