Goa the state in India is becoming a preferred destination for automobile events. Be it Super bike Week, Rider Mania, Mahindra Adventure, car media drive or just long rides, all making a beeline to Goa.
When it rains its time to have some adventure and no better than going off-roading to enjoy the slush and put the machines to work.
For off-road junkies and lovers there is some good news as the India 4×4 Week 2016, is to be held in Dona Paula from July 22-24, promises to be a thrilling event to look forward to, reports Team B&C
What is India 4×4 Week 2016
India 4×4 Week is India’s largest convention focused exclusively on vehicles with 4WD capability, their owners and everyone with an interest in the same.
The first India 4X4 Week will be held at Goa from July 22-24, 2016 and will feature a number of activities including displays, test tracks, offroad tracks and trails, RFC India Season 3 and other competitions, contests, interactions, off-road tracks and trails, night camping as well as knowledge, training and certification sessions.
Where is it happening?
The venue is Dona Paula (ex-IT Habitat site) and work is on full swing to prepare the place for the event. Hundreds of off-roaders from across the country will converge to Goa for the occasion, according to Delhi-based Cougar Motorsport Pvt. Ltd, the organizers.

Isuzu Motors will display D-Max V-Cross, India’s first adventure utility
The D-Max V-Cross is a tough and durable adventure utility vehicle with aggressive styling and a highly capable shift-on-the-fly 4WD. Isuzu Motors will display its new 4×4 single cab pickup truck and will also offer their vehicles for some off-roading.
Land Rover will be running test tracks and showcasing its vehicles. Customers will get to experience the Land Rover Discovery sport and other vehicles from the Land Rover product range.
Force Motors will have a static display of the Gurkha. Polaris and Mitsubishi will also participate.
There will be some classic and old vehicles on display. There will some Goan vehicles participating in the event while rest are being driven from other parts of the country or being transported. The heritage vehicles include the Land Rover Series 2A, Defender and 110 amongst others.
The 4×4 Week is going to be held concurrently with the Rain Forest Challenge that is being held in Goa. Both the events will basically attract for SUV, jeeps and modified 4 wheel drive owners.
