The new facelifted Tata Safari was caught testing in Pune. The Safari which been only seen some cosmetic upgrades on the sheet metal, will now receive a heavy duty work. In past with new engine’s the Safari got some minor facelifts during its long twelve year run.
But in 2011 the Safari will get a complete make over from inside out. Thanks to Bhuvan Chowdhary from Pune and Indianautosblog for sharing with us more clear images of the Safari.
The 2011 Safari will get 2.2 DICOR engine, hopefully with higher performance figures, a smooter gear box and a more rugged 4X4 transfer case.
From the spy pics its clear that the front will be more Squarish like the Land Rover’s, will sport projector headlamps, grille and all new bumper. Like the Aria the new Safari will get dual exhaust, dual mass flywheel and a host of technologies from the Aria.
We hope the Safari will feature the Blue5 technology and the new 2 DIN music system similar to the Aria.
