New Maruti Alto 800 interiors spied

The new Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 has been a buzz on the webosphere recently. We have been constantly updating our readers on the developments of the new small car from India’s largest car maker. Recently the new Alto 800 was also caught with a factory  CNG kit and the news has been confirmed of the car being launched with the CNG fuel option.

Thanks to our friends at carblogindian who has shared interior pics of the car. From the pics, Maruti has certainly done a classic job by offering beige and silver finish interiors and waterfall flow console design. The interior colours remind us of the Estilo.

The 3 spoke steering gives a upmarket feel and overall we are quite impressed with the car atleast from inside. The ac vents remind us of the Mahindra Xylo and the car will get company fitted stereo system (may be offered on the top variants only.

The two-tone grey dashboard comes with storage space above the glove box. The seats are carried form the current Alto with integrated head restraints  and countered from the rear which allows for more space at the rear.

The front power windows are placed near the gear box which helps reduce wiring costs. The door panels   get cloth finish at the lower end. A dedicated space for mounting speakers on the doors is also provided. The mirrors can be adjusted from the interior, a feature again we feel will be offered on the top end variant only.

The Alto 800 looks very similar to the facelifted Figo which was recently caught testing in Panvel. The Alto 800 will carry price tag of Rs. 2 lakhs for the base model and could go upto Rs. 2.60 lakhs for the top end.
