Maruti’s new sedan Ciaz launch tomorrow

Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the new Ciaz sedan in Goa alongside the global launch across India. The Ciaz will replace the SX4 to compete with the likes of the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Nissan Sunny and recently launched SKODA Rapid and Volkswagen Vento facelift.

The Ciaz has already received more than 5000 bookings pan Indian and as per our reports has also received very warm response in Goa.

The Ciaz will be offered with petrol and diesel engine option. The sedan will be powered by a 1.4-litre K-Series petrol engine which develops 95 PS  and 130 Nm of torque, and the 1.3-litre DDiS200 diesel engine that delivers 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque.

The petrol engine will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox or an optional 4-speed automatic transmission, while the diesel gets a 5-speed gearbox. Maruti Suzuki has once again re-claimed the most fuel efficient car in India tag with the Ciaz which returns 26.21 kmpl on the diesel option and 20.73 kmpl on the petrol (ARAI certified mileage figures)

The Ciaz comes with a good list of features to make it a strong competitor on the mid-size sedan segment.
