Maruti to launch Estilo, Ritz CNG models

Maruti Suzuki India’s number car maker is taking the green route to launch garner more market share and push sales of its not so popular models.

Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch Zen Estilo and Ritz in the CNG avatar to push sales. CNG fuel is getting more popularity especially after the increase in price s of petrol and diesel.

Maruti is currently studying options on other models also. Currently Maruti only sells the popular model Alto in the CNG version.

The problem with CNG is that it is available only 3 cities: Mumbai, Delhi & Gujarat.

Other automakers too are launching CNG models with Chevrolet recently launching its Aveo Sedan. Hyundai sells Santro, i10 and Accent in the CNG Version.

The market for CNG is slowly developing as more automakers plan to launch cars in this segment.
