Mahindra Stallio caught testing, launch by September?

Mahindra may launch the upgraded Stalio motorcycle in September as it was caught testing recently. The Stalio was launched it a lot of fan and fare but later was pulled out of the market due to technical issues.

Mahindra 2 Wheelers now plans to re-launch the motorcycle with a new gear box and minor changes to the existing models.

The bike bears the same the looks on the outside and changes are largely limited to the engine and gear box. The Satllio when launched was powered by a 106.7 cc engine which produced 7.3 PS @ 7500 rpm power and Maximum Torque of 8Nm @ 5500 rpm.

Mahindra has been testing the bike extensively in different parts of India as it does not want to keep any flaws and meet customer expectations. The company has also recently inaugurated its new Research and Development centre in Pune.

The centre has been recognised by the Department of Science and Industrial Research (DSIR) and will enable Mahindra Two Wheelers to undertake in-house design and development of engine technology for its motorcycles as well. During the new plant opening Mahindra also unveiled two brand new engines developed at the facility. The first is an indigenously developed and tested 110cc engine, while the second is a 300cc cutting-edge liquid cooled engine.

We can expect the launch by end of September or early October. Pricing will be close Rs. 40-45K.
