Yamaha introduces YSRS initiative in Goa to boost safety aspects of Motorcyle driving among youths.

After the well acclaimed success of the Yamaha Safety Riding Science (YSRS) training events in cities such as Delhi, Nagpur and Mumbai, Yamaha  introduced the YSRS initiative to the youth of Goa to teach safety riding techniques and help contribute to an accident-free traffic environment.

The training was attended by more than 100 students from Goa, the program was divided into 2 sessions, 1st was a classroom session and 2nd was practical session wherein 3 practical skills were taught including slow balancing, slalom and braking. The initiative was focused especially on inculcating safe riding habits and raising traffic safety awareness among local communities, apart from the Yamaha customers, achieved by imbibing and following traffic safety awareness and values into riding.

Yamaha launched Yamaha Safety Riding Science (YSRS) initiative in India last year. Through this initiative, the company is all set to take the idea of safe riding to colleges across the country.

Yamaha introduces new colours for YZF R15

Yamaha India launched the R15 in exicting new colours. The R15 is now available in 7 colours. The new colours are: Racing blue, Sunset Red, Midnight Black, and Impact Yellow.

New Bajaj Pulsar 220 to be launched on 23rd June

Bajaj Auto is gearing up to launch the fastest bike made in India. The company will launch the new Pulsar 220cc model on 23 June and will price it around Rs. 70,000 (ex-showroom in New Delhi), people close to development said.

Bajaj Auto first developed the fuel injection technology on a smaller engine on its flagship model Pulsar. The new version will have a top speed of over 140km per hour (kmph), almost 15kmph more than its predecessor.

The price is much lower than its predecessor, which was priced close to Rs. 85,000, and will compete with India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd’s R15 and FZ-16 models. The demand for sports bikes (Rs. 65,000-plus) in India is around 15,000 units per month.

The bike expected with more power and will get will get contemporary black theme.

Yamaha to get racing kits for FZ-16 and YZF-R15

The R15 and FZ-16 were caught testing the performance kits on a racetrack in Japan. Yamaha has developed Race Kits for its popular R15 and FZ16 bikes with the help of Daytona Corporation, Japan.

Daytona develops and supplies original and customized motorcycle parts and accessories to the International marketplace. The firm specializes is R&D and development of country specific high quality motorcycle parts for manufacturers.

Seeing Yamaha work on a Race Kit for the FZ-16 as well shows how committed the motorcycle maker is about boosting performance-biking in India.
