Yamaha R15 One make Race: Round 2

Good News for all the Bike enthusiasts. We are conducting the next round of YAMAHA RACING as YAMAHA R15 ONE MAKE RACE as a part of the SIDVIN FMSCI INDIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, 2010 at Madras Motor Race Track, Chennai. We at "Yamaha" take this opportunity to invite you with your friends to participate in the YZF R15 Class.
Our aim is to provide you the true experience of Racing Instinct and Unmatched Performance on the race track. To make your experience more exciting the YZF R15s provided to you would be modified with Daytona Racing Kit.
All the riders participating in Yamaha R15 One Make Race will be evaluated till the fourth Round on the basis of their performance. The best performing riders (One from each Class: 1 &ndash NOVICE & 1 &ndash EXPERT) would be given a chance to participate in the YAMAHA ASEAN CUP RACE to be held in Malaysia later in 2010.
Talented Riders can further get a chance to compete in ASIA ROAD RACE CHAMPIONSHIP RACE 600cc Class based on their performance in Yamaha ASEAN Cup Race-2010.

Yamaha R15 One Make Race Championship is being kick-started in Chennai on 5th & 6th June (Round 1) as part of the “SIDVIN-FMSCI National Motorcycle Racing Championship-2010”.
Yamaha has modified the racing format for the Season 2010 by making it an open championship and has invited participation from both Yamaha and Non-Yamaha customers. This is some great news as bikers who don’t own Yamaha R15 can still try their luck.

Yamaha unveiled the new 2010 YZF- R15 and the 2010 YZF- R1. On display at the Stall are the 150 cc bikes, YZF R15, Fazer and the FZ series. Yamaha’s import bikes- the 500 cc TMAX sports Scooter and 600 cc XJ6 motorcycles are also present on the stage.

Yamaha introduces YSRS initiative in Goa to boost safety

Yamaha introduces YSRS initiative in Goa to boost safety aspects of Motorcyle driving among youths.
After the well acclaimed success of the Yamaha Safety Riding Science (YSRS) training events in cities such as Delhi, Nagpur and Mumbai, Yamaha introduced the YSRS initiative to the youth of Goa to teach safety riding techniques and help contribute to an accident-free traffic environment.
The training was attended by more than 100 students from Goa, the program was divided into 2 sessions, 1st was a classroom session and 2nd was practical session wherein 3 practical skills were taught including slow balancing, slalom and braking. The initiative was focused especially on inculcating safe riding habits and raising traffic safety awareness among local communities, apart from the Yamaha customers, achieved by imbibing and following traffic safety awareness and values into riding.
Yamaha launched Yamaha Safety Riding Science (YSRS) initiative in India last year. Through this initiative, the company is all set to take the idea of safe riding to colleges across the country.
Yamaha introduces new colours for YZF R15

Yamaha India launched the R15 in exicting new colours. The R15 is now available in 7 colours. The new colours are: Racing blue, Sunset Red, Midnight Black, and Impact Yellow.
