The apex court also appointed a receiver to keep an account of the manufacture and sales of the twin-spark plug Flame by TVS. It had directed the Madras HC to dispose of the suit before November-end. That time, TVS said the order had vindicated its stand and gave it the freedom to manufacture the Flame bike with twin-spark technology. It also said it would decide when to start marketing the model.

The twin spark plug bike developed with AVL Austria, is propelled by three valve CC-VTi technology. It is designed to give superior performance and high fuel efficiency. TVS Flame DS 125 is the only motorcycle in the country to have a unique combination of three valves and two spark plugs, it claimed.
