Toyota to launch Diesel Corolla Altis

Toyota finally plans to launch Diesel Corolla Altis. Currently Toyota is testing the car on Indian roads. As per some sources Toyota may start production of the Corolla Diesel Altis by 27th of March and could launch it by April end or so. It could be the 2.0 litre diesel engine.
The confirmed launch date is not yet know.

Toyota India plans to launch Prius in India by March end. Toyota India had unveiled the Prius at the 2010 Delhi Auto expo.
Toyota debuts hybrid Car Prius @ Auto Expo

Toyota-Kirloskar Motor today launched its hybrid car Prius in India priced between Rs 26.55 lakh and Rs 27.86 lakh. This is the third generation Prius with 1.8 litre petrol engine with a battery of 60 kilowatt. Itwill have three driving mode — Power mode, Eco mode and Electric vehicle mode (battery).
Toyota has also launched Altis CNG and also displayed Innova CNG and Camry hybrid at its Stall in the expo.
Toyota unveils the Fine-S concept at Auto Expo

Toyota unveiled the Fine -S concept and claimed that it is the shape of the future that installed with hydrogen fuel-cell with low centre of gravity with independent 4-wheel torque control for exceptional maneuverability, having a spacious cabin with four seater design and emits only water vapour.
Toyota unveils new Etios Sedan & Hatchback versions at Auto Expo

The new Toyota Etios sedan and hatchback version on display at 10th Auto Expo. The Etios, orginally known as the EFC or the Entry Family Car would also be launched in a hatcback version. It also has the I-real mobility tool. Both these versions will be the prototype while the actual launch would be atleast a year away.
