Magic Iris India launch by Sept-Oct.

Tata Motors will have a nationwide launch of the Magic Iris, a multi-seater mini vehicle, by September-October. Tata magic Iris was launched initially only in Jaipur. The Magic Iris was launched in the end of March in Jaipur. The Ex-showroon price is Rs. 198,000.
The Magic Iris was unveiled at the 2010 Delhi auto expo.
Tata Nano Superdrive concludes its journey

The Tata Nano Superdrive caravan, which travelled a distance of 15,000 km, touching 36 cities across India, today concluded its 26-day voyage in Mumbai. The cars were flagged in by Mr. Ratan N. Tata, Chairman, Tata Sons & Tata Motors, in the presence of Tata Motors’ senior management.
The Tata Nano Superdrive, comprising 9 Tata Nanos, each festooned with a theme, had started from Sanand on June 2 to celebrate the inauguration of the plant. The cars travelled across India on three different routes. Each route was christened after our tri-coloured national flag namely ‘Saffron Route’, ‘White Route’ and ‘Green Route’, keeping with the theme of the country-wide drive.
Tata Nano to get expensive

Tata motors are likely to hike the prices of its cheapest car Nano.
The price hike will mostly take place from August when the car will be readily available to customers.
The Nano will see a price hike of around Rs. 5,000 on the base model to Rs. 15,000 on the top model. Even with the price hike Nano still remains the cheapest car in the world.
Tata Nano Superdrive in Goa

The 15,000 km country-wide Nano Superdrive reached Goa today. The Tata Nano Superdrive started at Sanand on June 2, 2010, to celebrate the inauguration of the Tata Nano’s new plant.
The Nano Superdrive were absolute traffic-stoppers as they visited prominent landmarks like Goa Old secretariat house, Inox (Goa’s first multiplex), Miramar beach and other famous places in Goa.
The Nano Superdrive is testament to the Nano’s robustness and reliability. The Nano Superdrive will leave from Goa tomorrow and will proceed to the next destination, Manglore. The drive will touch 10 different cities and, after a month, will conclude in Mumbai on June 28, 2010.
