Hyundai India said that they will refresh their existing line up and create more excitement. Hyundai has just launched the Verna Transform, Next is the Santa Fe SUV and by year end or before looks some treatment to i10. Hyundai i10 facelift has been spotted testing in the Chennai-Bangalore highway.
Hyundai small car at 2012 Auto Expo

Hyundai is likely to unveil a small car that will compete with Maruti Suzuki’s Alto the biggest selling car model in India at the next Auto Expo to be held here in 2012. The development of the small car is currently underway at its parent company’s R&D centre in Korea.
The car will be positioned below the company’s existing flagship model, Santro, and operate in the segment that the Alto from Maruti Suzuki.
Earlier, the company had set a timeline of 2011-12 for the launch of the small car, to be powered by an 800 cc engine.

Hyundai to launch Verna Transform on 23rd June

Hyundai India plan to give Verna a second life with the all new Verna Transform. Hyundai will launch this car on 23rd June. Verna was launched in an Automatic version but however failed to attract buyers. Hyundai will bet on the Verna Transform to get more buyers and to increase sales.
The Verna Transform looks sporty as compared to the current Verna with revised bumper, head lamps and grille.
Hyundai strike called off; production back on track

Its seems some relief to Hyundai India as normalcy has been restored at Hyundai Motor India for the timebeing, as the strike that began on Sunday, was called off on Wednesday. This new status follows worker and management representatives reaching a truce after a marathon meeting held at the Tamil Nadu labour minister’s bungalow.
Hyundai cannot afford a strike to happen as sales of cars are zooming month on month and hault in production could hamper the booming sales of Hyundai. Also this could have an effect on the exports.
Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) finance and corporate affairs senior VP R Sethuraman, coming straight from the meeting to a hurriedly-convened press meet here, said “we are happy to say that we have signed an MoU with the striking employees. The strike has been called off.”
