Fiat Linea T-Jet by September

Fiat India after launching the Punto 90 HP is planning to launch a more powerful variant of its sedan Fiat Linea. The Fiat Linea is currently powered with a 1.3 Mulltijet and a 1.4 litre petrol engine.
The Linea T-Jet will come with a 1.4 litre 110 PS Turbocharged Petrol Engine. This Linea T-Jet will give good competition to the upcoming VW Vento and Honda City.
If Fiat could launch an Automatic it will be certainly a hit, considering both VW and Honda are offering automatics in this segment, and given the aggressive pricing of Linea it will surely have more buyers.
Fiat Punto CNG by 2011

Fiat is now getting aggressive, and plan to launch more variants of their popular models Linea and Punto.
Fiat will launch CNG variant of the Punto in 2011. According to Motoroids, the Punto CNG will be launched in 2 variants Active and Dynamic. Initially only the Active will be launched and later Dynamic may follow depending on demand.
Fiat India had showcased these models at 2010 Delhi auto expo.
Fiat plans to phase out Palio

Fiat India plans to phase out Palio which was once a hot seller in India but has seen sales dwindling in the country over the last few years.
Fiat which is now banking on newer cars such as Punto hatchback and Linea sedan to double its sales in the current fiscal to around 45,000 units. Fiat launched the Punto with a more powerful engine.
Fiat to relaunch 500

Fiat plans to relaunch its flagship compact marquee Cinquecento, popularly known as Fiat 500, in India in the next few months. With the successful entry of Volkswagen’s iconic Beetle, which has surpassed original sales targets and created a flutter in the luxury small car space Fiat too plans a similar sales.
Fiat had launched Cinquecento in 2008, creating the market for high-end hatchbacks that costs as much as premium sedans. But its marketing efforts failed to lift Cinquecento sales and only 68 units were sold till date. In contrast, Volkswagen sold over 300 units of Beetle since its launch last November, with over 100 units sold in the May-June period alone.

Fiat launches Punto 90HP

Fiat India launched a new diesel variant of its small car, Grande Punto with 90 horse power.
The more powerful Punto is priced at Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom price, Delhi).
The company claimed that the car, with a 1.3-litre multijet engine, would give a mileage of 20 km per litre.
The new Punto with 90 hp is around 32,500 more expensive then the 75 hp emotion pack, which is the top of the line variant.
